In order for us to bring the permit into compliance
we propose to submit a 112 application. We need to estimate the
amount of land required to insure proper reclamation of the site
and discuss the proposed 112 permit boundary with the property
owner, Martin Woodring. It should be noted that the land in the
affected area and the land adjoining the affected area is all owned
by Martin Woodring. Also we currently have a lease on nearly 90
acres of land from Mr. Wooding that encompasses the affected area
and adjoining land. In anticipation of this situation, I contacted
Mesa County concerning changes to our special use permit for the
pit.
Recently I received a 112 permit application from the Divison's
office. I will try to meet with a representative from Mesa County
next week to review the site and to find out if a change in the
special use permit is required. If we can quickly determine the
amount of land needed to insure proper slopes for reclamation I
expect to submit the 112 application to you before the end of July
1994. I hope that this will meet with your approval.
Thank you for your past help
questions or comments.
Please call me if you have any
Si~el ,
Dennis K'r and
Vice Pre ent
AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
