Long <br />Division Director <br />Re: v~ceipt of 112 Construction Materials Reclamation Permit Amendment Application, Shawano <br />Pit, Permit No. M-1983-208, AM -1 / <br />bear Mr. Hunt: <br />On February 11, 2002, the Division of Minerals and Geology received your 112 Construciion Materials <br />Reclamation PermR Amendment application for tbe Shawano Pit, which is located in Montrose County. All <br />wtnmcet and review periods began on February 11, 2002. The decision date for your application is <br />scheduled for May 13, 2002- <br />Rridhm ten (IO) days after submittal, you nrust publish notice m a newspaper of gareral circulation m the <br />locality of the proposed mining operation once a week £or four (4) consecutive weeks. Immnri;atwly after <br />the first publitalion, mail a copy of the notice to all owners of record of surface and mineral rights, holders <br />of any recorded easements, and all owners of record of lands that are within 200 feet of the boundary of the <br />affected land. Proof of notice and mailings, such as Certified Mail -Return Receipt Requested, must be <br />submitted to the Division of Mmerats and Geology prior to the decision date.
