Staff thanks <br />Schmalz Construction for the photos showing some noted areas for clean up and boundary <br />markers. <br />The requested new man however does not meet the requirements. The map must be of <br />sufficient detail to show actual mine disturbance, access roads, current stockpile locations <br />in enough detail for the Division to adequately and correctly assess the permitted area. <br />What was submitted may have been okay in 1984, but is not okay in 2003. The map <br />submitted is acceptable as an Exhibit B, Index Map, but does not give details required for a <br />mining or reclamation map. Please submit a professionally prepared map with a maximum <br />scale of 1"= 200', depicting, permit boundaries, current disturbances, access roads, <br />current stockpile locations for topsoil, overburden, and materials, topographical features <br />such as drainages, utilities and any other information that depicts the current site. The <br />map needs to be submitted by January 5"', 2004 or the noted problem may be changed to <br />a possible violation and scheduled for the Mined Land Reclamation Board for review, which <br />could include.. possible civil penalties and / or permit termination.
