Mine Reclaimation Act. <br />SUGGE$TEDSOLUTION(S) An examination of the site was made 9/27/_77,_ _ <br />• ~ This is a pinyon-juniper woodland site, lightly stocked <br />(approx. 15o cover) on a south facing, dry exposure. There is <br />a good mixture of native grasses and shrubs in the understory on <br />the undisturbed sites. Soils are deep and granular and would he <br />good materials for respreading on mined sites in revegetation plans. <br />Vegetation types: Pinyon pine and Rocky Mtn. Juniper Understory <br />plants - sedges (elk and others), Indian Rice grass, sand dropseeci, <br />3 awn grass, blue gramma, squirreltail, needle & thread grass, <br />fringed sage, mountain mahogany, wax current and others. <br />This woodland site is cominonlY used for range f <br />livestock in this area, however, the carrying capacity is limited <br />• * Chec4 opp np,iore coregory <br />
