The mine site was inspected and a tire and rim, two barrels, <br />and a few pieces of pipe were found near an old log cabin at <br />the edge of the disturbed area which probably belonged to the <br />coal company. The company will be asked to remove these <br />items. The primary discharge of pond ~1 was partially block <br />and there was evidence of varmint burrowing in the pond <br />embankment. Notice of Violation C-94-024 was issued for pond <br />maintenance. <br />No Ten-Day Notices were issued as a result of this inspection. <br /> <br />
