Mr. Lobato has informed me
C that, pursuant to a certain hearing held on August 14,
'\ 1984, you have requested certain information concerning
5 the operation of the Blue Flame Mine since 1981. Enclosed
~ herewith you will find medical records which evidence Mr.
~ Lobato has been permanently and totally disabled since
November, 1981. From that date through June, 1984, his
only extraction from the Blue Flame Mine has been coal for
personal consumption. I am advised that the total tonnage
was approximately 60 to 100 tons. In as much as Mr. Lobato
is a recipient of Colorado Old Age Pension, he would have been
precluded from engaging in any gainful mining activity.
Should you have any questions, please advise.
Very t you ,
Edwin ,d.
