The proposal which we are recommending be adopted is
Option Ho. 6, which would ba to construct the loo year capacity
culvert and to keep the Clow within the basin rather than diverting
it to another sub-basin. our recoasnendatian to adopt Option No.
6 is contingent upon Castle Concrete ttabiliaing the area albove the
inlet at the HR-6 culvert to prevent sedimentation deposits
downstream.
You will note as: you read this report that Kiowa $n«ineering
Corporation, recommends that Cedar Heights property owners
construct a culvert under Cedar xeights Drive at the proposed
culvert "A" location and that stabilisation of the natural ewale
downstream of the HR-6 culvert be undertaken. The Ceda]- Heights
Lender$ ars aware of that recommendation. However, I wamt to make
it clear that at this point in time the cedar Heights Landers are
assuming no responsibility !or DonstruGtion o! that additional
culvert or the stabilization of the downstream slope. 'Pha Cedar
Heights Lenders ars only Pive of the many property owners in the
Cedar Heights subdivision, although admittedly the largest;property
owners. ]1ny culvert to bs installed at the proposed culvert "A"
location and stabilization of the slaps will need to be done with
the participation of all the property owners in the Cedar Heights
subdivision.
:,•
