Exhibit D <br />Page 1 of <br />SATTLB MOUNT7IIN GOLD COMPANY <br />CONTRACTOR SAFETY REQUZREMENI`S <br />Z - EQI~ICY <br />It is the policy of Battle Mountain Cold Company .that all <br />Contractors, subcontractors and other non-company rsonnsl <br />performing work on company property shall comply with all <br />applicable regulatory requirements and t2ie safety, h, lth and <br />trafninq obligations aontained herein and in the contractual <br />agreement. <br />II. P ~ <br />The purpose of these guidelines is to protect company <br />miployaes lrom injury or illness while contract work, is being <br />performed on company property; to ensure similar protection <br />for contractor's empieyses by establishing project safety <br />plans and procedures; and to limit Battle Mountiain Gold <br />Company's liability in its contractual ralationshipjwith non- <br />canpany personnel (contractors, vendors, supplies, eta.) <br />III. RESPONSIBILITIES <br />The responsibility for implementing the policy and procedures <br />is assigned to the Project Manager. The Project Manager, <br />together with Battle Mountain Gold Company, will {ievelop a <br />safety program tar the project. Contractors, howsvs will bo <br />held responsible for the safety of their won employe sand !or <br />performing work in a manner that meets the requir eats of <br />OSHA, MSRA, State and Battle Mountain Gold Comps y safety <br />policy and procedures. <br />Iv. rx~o~x.~ m_ ~s <br />A. -.n *al ons+derationa <br />1.
