If
thrT.post detox sample is above the permitted levels, the Division must
be notified within 5 days from the time the results are received from
the lab.
In complying with TR-010, a post detox sample is taken once every 5 - 9
days and given to our on-site lab for analysis. This sample is analyzed
that day and reported to the Division with the Weekly and Monthly Pond
Compliance Reports. In each report a 30 day average is calculated for
the post detox samples. If a post detox sample is higher than the
permitted levels of 4.4 ppm cyanide total and/or 3.8 ppm cyanide WAD,
then BMRI must sample the tailings ponds and analyze for cyanide total
and WAD. BMRI samples the tailings pond everyday regardless. The
sampling of the post detox is not a compliance point, therefoYe there
are no consequences when the sample is above permitted levels.
Sincerely, .
~_
~" ~~ . -
Sally Hgyes
Environmental Engineer
cc: Anne Baldrige
Dan Robertson
a suusrnn~er nr x.~rru r~ nnruna nrN coon cuev~,~Nr
P.O.
