CO 80203-2273
Dear Mr. Gorham:
Enclosed are responses to your comments, dated March 14, 1995, regarding the 1994 Annual
Hydrology Report. To facilitate your review, each of the Division's comments have been
reproduced in itn/ics followed immediately by the comment response.
No flow values were located for the April visit to sites TR-n ar:d TR-b. Please provide this
information.
Flow values at TR-a and TR-b are not available for the date samples were taken along Trout
Creek. The samples for surface water quality along Trout Creek were taken on April 5,
1994. The streamflow monitoring stations were not able to be activated until April 19, 1994
due to the frozen conditions of the stilling well at TR-a and the creek area at TR-b. In the
future, surface water samples will not be obtained until after the streamFlow monitoring
stations are activated to ensure that water quality measurements are accompanied by
streamilow measurements.
2. No iron values were located for the April satnples taken at Sites TR-A, TR-B, TR-C and
TR-D. Please provide this information.
Iron was added [o the surface water parameter list as part of Technical Revision 20 which
was approved in Juiy 1994. As such, iron concentrations were not analyzed for prior to
that time.
3. No water sample infonnatiotl was submitted far the spring and seep survey conducted on
Mnv /0, /994. Please submit the information as required by your approved permit.
