There are no known Bald Eagle nests in the azea and they would likely be in the area
for a short period.
Burrowing Owl - (State Threatened) -Burrowing owls live and nest in prairie dog holes. Burrowing
owls migrate out of the state during the winter months. For more information, please read the enclosed
information.
Black-tailed Prairie Dog - (Species of Concern) -this species was recently given the status of
"Warranted but precluded" by the US Fish and Wildlife Service meaning that protection of them through
the endangered species act is warranted, but due to other priorities is precluded from such protection.
Also, please be awaze that we do not have information on threatened or endangered plants or insects.
