Long;
D ivi~ion DueUrn
As discussed at the June 30, 1993 meeting with DMG, OSM and Enron,
the matter of an alternate post mine land use for the office area
at the Northern No. 1 Mine needs to be clarified in the Meeker Mine
permit. This letter is to notify you that Enron must submit a
minor revision to the Meeker Mine permit designating those portions
of the office area which were not revegetated as residential or
recreational post mine land use. This revision must be submitted
to the Division by August 7, 1993.
The revision should clearly identify all areas which will not be
reclaimed to a grazing/wildlife habitat land use on a map. The
requirements of Rule 4.16.3 which are pertinent to the situation
need to be addressed. An explanation by the landowner of how and
when the facilities to be left in place are or will be used in
conjunction with the new land use should also be included. It
would probably be prudent to also include the roads to be retained
in this revision,
If this revision is not received by the Division by August 7, 1993,
an enforcement action will be necessary because of the failure to
contemporaneously reclaim the area to the designated post mine land
use.
