The extension was granted in response to your request and to allow additional time for <br />Bowie Resources to resolve certain financial matters related to the required bond replacements. <br />Please provide a written status report regazding the efforts of Bowie Resources, Ltd, to date, in <br />replacing the bonds as required by the Notices of Violation. The report should contain specific <br />information regazding the steps taken to ensure compliance including any bankruptcy filing and any <br />progress with specific surety companies. We also request that you provide a secondreport by <br />February 23, 2001. Please also notify us immediately if a bankruptcy filing occurs. <br />Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
