ExHieR E RECLAMATION PLAN (CONT) ~ID Mun 3002 Amendment # 4 - RESERVOIR AREAS At this time the Courts have awarded a junior water right to Frei for an 11.07 acres t lake that will be built or_ the site in the southeast corner of the floor area. This lake will be mined into hard rock creating a depression that will be filled and emptied by a pump. Filling will take place with water from Clear Creek that will be pumped into the hole. As the water is used it will be pumped out of the hole. Since it is a reservoir the slopes will be mined 3h to lv. This is done because of the below water sloping requirements and the fact that reservoir levels will fluctuate so there is no set lake elevation. The northwestern lake is proposed but at this time the operator has no water to fill it. It is estimated that it will take 20 to 25 years before mining is completed in this area and during that time water can be obtained to fill the lake. If no water is available the floor of the lake would be graded as part of the commercial area. Leaving an area that would be ready for water at some later date when it becomes available. As can be seen from the Reclamation Plan Map the interior lake slopes are shaped 3h to lv, with a 40 foot level area around the lake. From this level area the hillside above the lake will be mined leaving near vertical walls with benches like those approved in the existing plan for the east side of the site. Reclamation around the lake and on the benches will be done using the same methods approved for bench areas now. Growth medium will be respread over the flat areas at an average depth of 12 inches and seeded with the appropriate seed mix. Amendment # 5 - NORTN SLOPE AREA The new north slope area will be reclaimed using the methods of resoiling and reseeding currently approved. This will be a 17
