NOVA C-92-004 <br />Dear Mr. McKennis: <br />Our inspection on Tuesday February 11, 1992 resulted in the <br />issuance of a Notice of Violation at the North Thompson Creek mine <br />Loadout site. As discussed with you at the field inspection, the <br />notice concerns the absence of perimeter markings for the Loadout <br />area; Rule 4.02.3. NOV,~ C-92-004 was issued on February 13, 1992. <br />For your convenience, a copy of the Notice of Violation is <br />enclosed. <br />A follow-up inspection was conducted on February 15, 1992 and <br />revealed that the operator, Minrec,Inc. had abated the violation by <br />posting several fence posts and PVC pipes along the Loadout <br />boundaries, thus abating the violation. Termination of the <br />violation was written on February 24, 1992. <br />As a public citizen and source of the complaint, you have the right <br />to an informal review by the Division's Director, regarding this <br />Notice of Violation; Rule 5.02.5(5).
