Re: Incas Mine, Permit No. M-86-076, Annual Fee and Report Request, Notice of
Violation No. M-94-001
Section 34-32-116(3) and (4) and Permit No. M-86-076 require Northern
Minerals Inc. to submit an annual fee and an annual report ON OR BEFORE
October 6 of each year to the Division of Minerals and Geology (the
"Division"), for the previous years operations, until your reclamation bond is
released in its entirety. As of this date, the Division has not received the
annual fee of $225.00, nor the annual report for 1992-93. Therefore, Northern
Minerals Inc. is in violation of the above cited statutes and the provisions
of Permit No. M-86-076. Pursuant to C.R.S. 34-32-124(7), as amended, Northern
Minerals Inc. is hereby assessed a civil penalty in the amount of $225.00
' If Northern Minerals, Inc. fails to submit the annual fee, annual report, and
the assessed civil penalty by February 14, 1494, this matter will be scheduled
for a Formal Public Hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board for
consideration of a Cease and Desist Order at the February 23-24, 1994 Board
Meeting.
IN ORDER TO AVOID A CEASE AND DESIST ORDER, PLEASE SUBMIT $225.00 FOR ANNUAL
FEES, $225.00 FOR THE CIVIL PENALTY (FOR A TOTAL OF $450.00), AND THE ANNUAL
REPORT BY FEBRUARY 14, 1994.
The Board meeting will be held on Februayr 23 and 24, 1994, in Room 318 of
1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado, beginning at 9:00 a.m. or as soon
thereafter as the matter can be considered, and Northern Minerals, Inc. will
have the opportunity to be represented and heard.
