Cattany
Division Director
Natural Resource Trustee
The Division has received your Minor Revision 78 submittal -updated facilities
information, dated 28 Apri12006. The Division received this submittal on 1 May 2006
and called it complete on 9 May 2006. The Division has reviewed the MR-78 submittal
and has the following 22 adequacy questions.
As stated in the MR-78 cover letter, OMLLC plans to expand the main office
building, the bathhouse building and the compressor building (and add a second
compressor). OMLLC has not provided the Division with any detailed plans
regarding the proposed new and expanded buildings. These plans are necessary
to ensure compliance with the Rules and to complete an accurate reclamation cost
estimate. Please provide the Division with detailed plans for the expansion of
the main office building, bathhouse building and compressor building.
2. The table information on revised page 2.05-10 regarding the main office building
still states that the size of the building is 60'x60'. With the expansion of the
building it is assumed that this will change. Please update the table entry for
"office" on revised page 2.05-10 to reflect its proposed new dimensions.
The table entry for the "rock dust bins" on page 2.05-10, originally listed between
the "coal laboratory" and the "explosives magazines" entries on the page updated
August 2000, has been removed. This information is necessary and is historically
important if the tanks have been removed relocated or demolished. Please
include the table entry for the "rock dust tanks" on revised page 2.05-10. If
these tanks have been removed/relocated or demolished, please include this
information on the table.
Office of Office of Colorado
Mined Land Reclamation Active and Inactive Mines Geological Survey
