The basis for this revision stems from requirements by
San Miguel County for a road relocation and noise abatement berm. (See map)
The importation of clean fill dirt is estimated to be 8000 cubic yards, 5000 for the
berm and 3000 for the road relocation. The majority of the fill material will come
from the Town of Mountain Village, Colorado, derived from the excavation of
home sites there. It shall be imported into the Pathfinder pit via 10 and 20 yard
dump trucks. The haul distance from the excavation sites to the Pathfinder pit
averages 6-12 miles. Once completed, the berm will be hydro mulched with
approved San Miguel County seed mix. It is not intended for traffic and therefore
will not be engineered as such. The berm may be temporary and could possibly
be moved as needed for further noise abatement, in such case, Pathfinder will
file a TR with the DMG for any additional moves.
Should you have questions regarding this revision, please do not hesitate to call.
John Dourlet
VP Pathfinder Development
Dui;
ivisipnpf:~nf~is ~~lOgy
