Box 1430, Palisade, CO, 81526, has submitted a complete <br />application for a technical revision to the Division of Minerals and Geology for its Roadside <br />North and South Portals, mining permit No. C-81-041. The proposed revision will amend the <br />reclamation schedule to allow the Operator additional time to maximize the commercial <br />value of certain structures and the underlying land. The Operator is actively marketing all <br />of the structures and land associated with the reclaimed mining operation. <br />The Roadside mines are located approximatelythree miles northeastof Palisade, CO atthe <br />Interstate 70, Cameo Exit No.46. The permit area is split east and west by the Colorado <br />River and I-70, and is encompassed within the following lands: <br />T10S, R98W., 6'" P.M.: Sections 20, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 34, 35 <br />Ti i S, R98W., 6"' P.M.: Sections 1, 2, t 1, 12, 13, 14 <br />T115, R97W., 6"' P.M.: Sections 6, 7, 18 <br />Ti S, R2E, Ute P.M.: Section 1 <br />The location of these sections is contained within the U.S. Geological Survey 7.5 minute <br />Cameo and Palisade Quadrangle maps. <br />A copy of the proposed revision is available for public inspection at the Mesa County Clerk <br />antl Recorder's office, 544 Rood, Grand Junction, CO, and at the offices of the Division of <br />Minerals and Geology, 1313 Sherman 5t., Room 215, Denver, GO, 80203, (303) 866-3567. <br />Written comments regarding this application may be submitted to and additional information <br />may be obtained from the Division of Minerals and Geology at the above address. <br />
