All <br />review and comment periods as provided in the Colorado Surface Mining Reclamation Act and the Rules initiate <br />from this date of filing. <br />Kerr Coal Company proposes to continue surface coal mining and/or reclamation operations on land located <br />approximately 12 miles east of Walden, Colorado. The permit area is further described as follows: <br />TSN, R78W, Portions of Section 2 <br />T9N, R78W, Portions of Sections 22, 23, 25, 26, 27, 35 <br />T9N, R79W, Portions of Sections 28, 29 (loadout) <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map of Johnny Moore Mountain. <br />Kerr Coal Company submitted a complete application for permit renewal number 4. No revisions to the permit <br />have been proposed. <br />A copy of the renewal application is available for public inspection at the Jackson County Courthouse, Box 337, <br />Walden, CO 80480, and at [he Division office. For additional information, to provide written comments, or <br />request an informal conference, contact the Division of Ivtinerals and Geology, Room 215, 1313 Sherman Street, <br />Denver, Colorado 80203.
