NOV C-93-102 stales: <br />Failure to include with the application a map, prepared according to the standards of Rrrle 2.10, <br />srrffuient to describe all proposed surface distrrrlunces to !x associated with rrndergrorrnd mining <br />activities within the permit area (Rule 1.05.3 (2J(b); specifically, failure to correctly identify on a map <br />the boundary of all areas proposed to be affected over the total life of the proposed underground mining <br />activities (Rule 2.10.3(1)(6), Rule 1.04(7), and Rrrle 1.04(131))." <br />The steps necessary to abate the viola ion states: <br />"Submit, and receive approval of, a new Map 18 that correctly identifies the following areas within the <br />surface disturbance boundary: <br />1) 7fie road north of refuse pile; <br />2) The portion of die County road where personnel working on the prototype coal drying <br />equipment had parked their equipment and where a portion of riprapped road ditch existed; <br />3J A portion of the refrse pile access road and associated orrtslope; <br />4) 7fie rockdust bin SAE area; <br />S) 71ie substation SAE area; <br />6) The powder magazine and D/H road,• and <br />7) The mine exhaust fan and light rrse road" <br />In response to NOV C-93-102, EFCI conduced a field survey of the area indicated and updated the <br />disturbance boundary as shown on Map 18. The disturbance boundary for the fan area and is shown <br />on Map 30. In addition, a 20 foot wide permit boundary/disturbance boundary corridor was created for <br />the light use road to the south mine fan as shown on Maps 17, 18 and 30. These revised maps are being <br />submitted to DMG as TR-16. <br />The technical revision package incudes the following: <br />• Application Form for Technical Revision <br />• Revised Permit Maps 17, 18, and 30 <br />• Public Notice <br />
