West Elk Coal <br />Company, Inc.) requests a minor revision to Permit C- <br />80-007 to construct a 56 foot high steel wall on <br />concrete footers around the conveyor structure at the <br />silo area to prevent further damage from coal <br />stockpiling operations at that site. The structure <br />will be backfilled with an expanded shale (or similar <br />lightweight material) to a height of 45 feet to provide <br />stability when piling or pushing against it. <br />The cost to reclaim this structure is estimated as <br />follows: <br />Demolition of Concrete Footers: <br />17 c.y. x $196.00/c.y. _ $ 3,332.00 <br />Concrete Disposal on Site: <br />17 c.y. x $ 4.64/c.y. = 78.88 <br />Steel Demolition: <br />70,558 c.f. x $0.16/c.f. = 11.289.28 <br />Total $14,700.16 <br />Rounded to $14,700.00 <br />The estimated bond for the conveyor structure <br />protective wall will be covered by the reclamation bond <br />contingency surplus and will reduce the surplus as <br />follows: <br />MCC Bond Amount $2,250,000.00 <br />Current Bond Requirements 2,173,485.00 <br />Protective Wall Bond Needed 14,700.00 <br />New Bond Needed 2.188.185.00 <br />New Surplus $ 61,815.00 <br />AMG05201 <br />
