San Luis Project; Permit M-8 -112 <br />In connection with the proposed "Scope of Work" for the Third Party Monitoring <br />contract, I recommend the following modifications to section V.C. of the DRAFT <br />Memorandum of Understanding. <br />V. ADMINISTRATION OF THIRD PARTY SAMPLE COLLECTION <br />C. Sample Collection Procedures <br />Add a new paragraph 1, to read: <br />1. "The third party sampling contractor shall prepare <br />guideline for the conduct of the sampling, based up n a <br />review of the permit monitoring requirements and th Sampling <br />and Analytical Protocol (TR-006>." <br />[Renumber all following paragraphs appropriately.] <br />Add a new Section D. entitled "Reports" to read as follows. i <br />"D. Reports <br />A summary report will be prepared subsequent to the <br />completion of each sampling event and the receipt o the <br />analytical results from the chosen laboratory. <br />2. The summary reports will include a summary of the s mpling <br />activities, sampling observation documentation, "ch in of <br />custody" documentation, the verbatim analytical res lts from <br />the laboratory, with comments on unusual or unexpec ed <br />results, and recommendations for minor sampling cha ges, if <br />indicated by the analytical results." <br />[Redesignate all following sections appropriately.] <br />JP/jp <br />
