Lnn% <br />D.v Faun UIlrUO! <br />I have reviewed the above referenced MR at Larry's request and have <br />the following comments: <br />1) Colowyo's bond estimate is adequate. <br />2) I agree with Colowyo that, in practical terms, no <br />sediment control should be necessary at the alluvial well <br />sites for the scope of work proposed (only 0.3 cy of <br />cuttings will be generated at each of the sites...the <br />cuttings will be stockpiled for only 3 hours...and the <br />cuttings will be used to complete the well as soon as the <br />casing is installed); however, I'm not sure that the regs <br />allow for forgoing sediment control entirely. What's <br />your interpretation? I have visited these sites, and it <br />is highly unlikely that the cuttings would be washed away <br />to Taylor Creek in the time period that they will be <br />stockpiled. <br />3) If Colowyo hasn't already committed to sediment control <br />at the G seam well sites in MR 31, they should do so as <br />a part of this MR. <br />4) Colowyo does not indicate whether the G seam wells, which <br />will be located at "previously permitted exploration <br />sites UL-95-40 and 45" will be the same depths as the <br />originally permitted wells. The operator should clarify <br />this. <br />5) Colowyo should describe, in detail, the sediment control <br />measures planned for the proposed additional exploration <br />holes (UL-95-46 and 47). <br />
