Box 327 <br />Rifle, Colorado 81650 <br />RE: Permit No. 77-541, Notice of Hearing Concerning Payment of <br />Unsuspended Civil Penalty in Monthly Installments <br />Dear Mr. Runyan: <br />The Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board ("the Board") nas requested <br />that a written agreement be made clarifying the payment of the $3,000 <br />unsuspended civil penalty in monthly installments. <br />A written agreement far your signature is being forwarded to you (with a <br />copy to your attorney) under separate cover. Since the matter concerns <br />civil penalty, the agreement must go before the Board in the format of a <br />Fonnal Public Hearing. Therefore, such a hearing has been scheduled for <br />Wednesday, December 14, 1983 in Wyer Auditorium, Denver Public Library, <br />1357 Broadway, Denver, Colorado, cornnencing at 9:00 a. m. or as soon <br />thereafter as the matter can be considered. The hearing will be open to <br />the public and conducted in accordance with the provisions of the "State <br />Administrative Procedure Act," article 4 of title 24, C.R.S. 1973. The <br />subject of the hearing will be the written agreement concerning monthly <br />payment of the civil penalty.
