Rules 4.05.2(6), 4.05.2(7), and 4.05.16(4). Please include a reference to the number and provisions of <br />the Colorado Division of Public Health and Environment permit that permits the tank overflow discharge <br />at the surface. <br />Item 2. Rule 2.05.3(3)(a). Pease include, on drawing Map EX49A-M5, the overflow line from the tank to <br />the sedimentation pond. <br />Item 3.. Rule 4.05.6(3)(a). Please include the maximum discharge (quantity) of the overflow line to the <br />(containment) sedimentation pond with a demonstration that the pond as constructed is capable of <br />handling the discharge. Inclusion (also) of the maximum discharge rate is recommended in the event that the <br />pond is redesigned as a treatment pond [see Rule 4.05.6(3)(a)]. <br />Item 4. Rule 4.05.2(8). Please indicate compliance with this rule (pH) in the revised pages of the <br />application. [t might be appropriate to reference the permit of Item I. <br />Item 5. Rule 4.05.16(3). Please update Map 16 and associated text to indicate current and proposed <br />management of water. <br />Item 6. Rule 4.05.16(6). Please include text to the effect that the water management system meets with the <br />approval of the Mine Safety and Health Administration. <br />Please request an extension to [he due date for a decision on this minor revision application so as [o provide the <br />Division with ten working days after receipt of a response to this adequacy letter.
