Barra. <br />Division Director <br />On June 27, 1990 the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board conditionally <br />approved the amendment application submitted to the Division on April 27, <br />1990. The amendment addressed the change of mining method to t e use of a <br />Ross Box and the addition of 40 acres. The terms of the AM No. 003 approved <br />by the Board are hereby incorporated into Permit No. M-85-029. <br />The conditions of the Board approval are noted below. Please Hate that all <br />other provisions of Permit No. M-85-029 remain in full force and effect. <br />1. Within 30 days of approval of the amendment, RRI shall mark the <br />permit boundary with steel fence posts under the air ction and <br />supervision of a registered land surveyor. The post shall be <br />painted orange and shall be appropriately located to indicate the <br />permit boundary. RRI shall maintain such markers fo the life of <br />the mine. <br />2. Within 60 days of approval of the amendment, but aft r the <br />1 installation of the markers described above, RRI sha 1 schedule and <br />conduct, at the convenience of the members of Concer ed Citizens of <br />Alma (CCA), a tour of the facility to familiarize in erested <br />members of CCA with the permit boundary. <br />3. Within 3 years of the approval date of the amendment) RRI shall <br />either: l <br />a. cease operation of Pond No. 1 and commence reclaritation of the <br />pond embankment, or <br />b, complete installation of an appropriately design~d interior <br />drainage system with prior approval of the desig by the <br />Division. <br />
