Mount <br />Reclamation Specialist <br />Mined Land Declamation Div. <br />423 Centennial Building <br />l.ala Sherman Street <br />Denver, Colorado 80203-2273 <br />Re: Technical Revision for Change of Fertilizer type on <br />Reclained Land at Ideal Basic's Portland Limestone <br />quarry, Permit No. M-77-344 <br />Dear Mr. Mount: <br />The Fremont Sanitation District has sought permission to <br />spread treated sewer sludge on certain properties owned by <br />Ideal Basic near the Portland Plant in Fremont County. Some <br />of this property is the backfilled portions of Cuts 1, 2, 3 <br />and 4 as shown on Ideal drawing 1387e. <br />This request far a technical revision is a result of the <br />permit procedure that the Sanitation District must fallow <br />prior to distributing the sludge on any area. <br />Spreading of sludge on the reclaimed areas of the quarry by <br />the Sanitation District should enhance plant growth as <br />discussed with Reclamation Specialist Cammile Farrell on her <br />recent inspection of the Portland Quarry.
