S 2 <br />The NATURE OF VIOLATION is modified to: <br />"Failure to provide sufficient information regarding the characteristics of the West Pit mining <br />area sediment control practices to demonstrate adequate capacity to contain or treat runoff from <br />a 10-year, 24-hour precipitation event." <br />The STEPS NECESSARY TO ABATE VIOLATION (REMEDIAL ACTION) are modified to: <br />1. Revise Exhibits 7 and 20 of the Colowyo Mine permit application to describe sediment <br />control practices to be utilized during mining area and pit development. <br />2. Submit a demonstration that existing sediment control structures for the West Pit mining <br />area are adequate to contain or treat runoff from a 10-year, 24-hour precipitation event; <br />and contain or safely pass runoff resulting from a 25-year, 24-hour precipitation event. <br />The demonstration shall reflect current West Pit area conditions. <br />
