<br />Pursuant to Title 34, Article 33, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, the
<br />Division of Minerals and Geology hereby issues notice that on June 29, 1995, a
<br />technical revision application for a permit to conduct coal mining operations
<br />by The Pittsburg & Midway Coal Mining Co., P.0. Box 176, Oak Creek, CO 80467,
<br />was deemed complete for the purposes of filing. All reviews and comment
<br />periods as provided in the Act and Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate
<br />from this day of filing.
<br />The applicant proposes to revise surface coal mining operations at the Edna
<br />Mine. The technical revision provides designs for a non-clogging discharge
<br />structure at the Moffat Pond.
<br />The Edna Mine permit area is located four miles northwest of Oak Creek,
<br />Colorado, and is described as follows:
