Novemher 25, BMGC personnel cleaned out the leach tank, <br />at the San Luis Mine and located a few areas in [he bottom of two of the tank9 where <br />welds had separated or small holes had developed. There is no evidence of slufry <br />escaping the tanks but the sand under the bottom of the tank was damp. The tanks have <br />been decommissioned and are not going to be placed back in service, so there (s no threat <br />of future contamination. <br />As you stated, any contaminated soil which may he present can be removed when the <br />[ants are removed.
