Toning is A-2, according to Exhibit "M", correct for <br />landfill, requires Special Use Permit in zone. See attached Toning <br />Provisions. Any landfill operation will probably require Special <br />Use approval. Exhibit A-1 shwas incorrect zone. Please change to A-2. <br />C-1. If reclamation plant used, will be.filled up with <br />unreclaimables and sand plant fines; if not, will be filled with <br />I fines over landfill if approved; if not, will be filled with fines <br />and returned to prairie grassland, if no other practical use availa- <br />ble; therefore, no final slope, in any event. <br />C-2. Four acres west of Fountain Valley Ditch Canal, <br />not to be extracted. <br />C-3. Topsoil will be used for fill from sand plant. <br />Some topsoil may be stored along Fountain Valley Ditch (contour <br />5875 - Mining Plan). <br />D-1. 18 slope to the south. <br />D-2. Sanitary landfill will take 25 years as indicated <br />in the Reclamation Timetables. If the reclamation plant is used, <br />then timetable is directly tied to the amount, size and shape of <br />the nonreclaimable items to be buried. If the return to prairie <br />grasses is the final use, then the completion of the mining plans <br />will commence the reclamation timetables. <br />D-3. The Soil Conservation Service recommends 4 to 6 <br />inches of topsoil. Castle has indicated 4 inches of topsoil on the <br />Reclamation Plan. <br />-1- <br />
