Statement of Qualifications <br />3 <br />ORGANIZATION OF OUR FIRM <br />1 j <br />' In response to the changing nature of the projects on which Water Waste 8 <br />Land is asked to provide services, we have organized our technicalefforts into <br />' two operating divisions: Environmental and Mining/Geotechnical. ~ach division <br />' focuses a set of technologies for specific project requirements. The speciaiized <br />skills of each division allow it to more effectively and efficiently perform its <br />' project tasks. However, technologies, experience and expertise, as ell as staff, <br />' are fully shared between the divisions. This shared technological base <br /> strengthens our ability to respond to client situations with ~ffective and <br />' a <br />ro <br />ri <br />t l <br />ti <br /> pp <br />p <br />a <br />e so <br />u <br />ons. <br /> I <br />ENVIRONMENTAL DIVISION <br />' The Environmental Division works primarily on projects wh~re hazardous <br />waste and RCRA and CERCLA type issues are encountered and where signhficant legal <br />and regulatory constraints are imposed. The technological base of his division <br />' is ground water and surface water hydrology and hydraulics. The exp~rtise of this <br />' division is in its ability to collect, analyze, and interpret hydrog~ologic data, <br />' and to integrate these data with other data and knowledge about a site or problem <br />area so that alternatives can be evaluated and appropriate actionstaken. <br />' To support this expertise the Environmental Division has sp~cific skills <br />' and experience in the areas of: <br />• design and implementation of sampling programs, <br />1 <br /> <br />
