'~ An access road, 200 feet long by 15 feet wide, will be constructed from
the existing mine access road to the trailer site. Due to the gently
sloping terrain, no cut and fill will be required. Topsoil along the road
corridor will be stripped to a depth of eight (8) inches and stockpiledf~~
in the topsoil stockpile located just east of the proposed road. The
access road will be graded and surfaced with gravel far all weather use.
Also, two (2) 18-inch corrugated metal pipe culverts will be installed
across the proposed access road, as shown on Figure 1, Proposed Trailer
Site and Access Road. Drainage from the site will flow into the existing
ditches along the mine access road.
Power will be routed underground to the trailer from an existing power
pole located approximately 90 feet north of the proposed trailer site as
shown on Figure 1, Proposed Trailer Site and Access Road. The powerline
will be a shielded cable installed six (6) inches above the waterline in
the same trench.
A waterline will be routed underground from the guard shack to the trailer
as shown by Figure 1, Proposed Trailer Site and Access Road. The
waterline will be approximately 800 feet long and will be placed 36 inches
deep.
A septic system and leach field for the trailer will be installed on the
trailer site northeast of the trailer according to county regulations.
SITE MAINTENANCE
The proposed trailer site and access road will be graded periodically and
the culverts will be kept open year-round.
RECLAMATION
The trailer is expected to remain on the site for the life of the mine.
,~1,~ Upon completion of mining the trailer and trailer supports will be
removed.
3
