Specifically, information should be submitted detailing the <br />composition of the material to be placed from the thickener into the pond; <br />such as, what percentage of the material is coal fines, flocculent, or any <br />other chemicals that may be introduced. After this information has been <br />received, the appropriateness of placing this material in the sediment ponds <br />can be reviewed. <br />The Division also requests to be copied on any correspondence your company has <br />with the Department of Health about this matter.
