Long
Division Duepor
We have received your request to extend the abatement due dates for the above mentioned
notices of violation. Your request would extend beyond the second ninety day period
previously authorized by the Division director. Since we have not received a response from
P&M to our adequacy letters for Technical Revisions 25 and 26, P&M does not qualify for an
extension beyond ninety days (Rule 5.03.2(2)(b)(i)). We will extend the deadlines until October
2, 1993. Given that the proposed revisions are not technically complex, it is not likely that the
Division will extend the abatement deadlines into an additional ninety day period. Therefore,
we would advise that P&M respond to our adequacy concerns in a timely manner to ensure
that abatement will be complete on or before October 2, 1993.
Should you have any questions or need additional information, please contact me.
Sincerely,
ICY.ce~S
Susan L Burgm ier
Reclamation Specialist
Enclosure
STATE OF COLORADO
SLB\082693.WP
