A description of the results achieved: <br />• All of the mine portals have been sealed. <br />• The Roadside North Portal, North Decline and Northwest Intake Portal have been <br />restored to approximate original contours. <br />• Approximately 18" of non-toxic cover was placed on the Cameo Refuse Disposal <br />Area No. 1. <br />• Approximately 24" of non-toxic cover was placed on the Cameo Refuse Disposal <br />Area No. 2. <br />• Cover material for Cameo Refuse Disposal Area No. 2 was removed from Cameo <br />Borrow Area No. 1 and then topsoil was replaced on the borrow area. <br />• Cover material for Cameo Refuse Disposal Area No. 2 was removed from the <br />re-chaanelized section of Coal Creek. Drop structures were removed from this <br />section of the channel. <br />• The Roadside Refuse Pile was reshaped to provide two 10 - 15 foot wide benches <br />at approximately 30 - 40 foot vertical increments. The pile was then covered with <br />18" of non-toxic material on all slopes and benches. <br />• Cover material for the Roadside Refuse Disposal Area was removed from the <br />Roadside Refuse Borrow Area. Topsoil was replaced on the borrow azea afrer <br />• regrading to approved final contours. <br />Anew upper diversion ditch system was constructed at the Roadside South Portal. <br />The old upper diversion ditch was restored to approximate original contours. <br />• Anew upper diversion ditch system was constructed for the Cameo Refuse <br />Disposal Area No. 2 and the old upper diversion ditch was restored to <br />approximate original contours. <br />• Rock groupings were placed on the refuse piles during the 2002 reclamation <br />project. <br />• The concrete/CMP dip section on Haul Road No. 2 was reclaimed. <br />• With the exception of "G" substation and the associated powerlines, all structures <br />and miscellaneous materials were removed from the Roadside North Portal site. <br />This includes all buildings, materials, impoundment ponds, and drainage <br />structures such as culverts, drop boxes and pipes. Miscellaneous materials <br />include all derelict mining machinery, parts, coal handling facilities, coal pads and <br />road surfaces. <br />• The overland conveyor system, transfer towers 1, 3 and 4, the lineaz stacker and <br />terminal building have been removed from the overland conveyor corridor. <br />• The prepazation plant, the clarification tank, the refuse truck loading facility and <br />compressor buildings have been removed at the Roadside South Portal. <br />• The Stacker tube and all conveyor structure at the Roadside South Portal have <br />been removed. <br />• Substation B and all associated powerline and poles on the mesa above the <br />• Roadside South Portal have been removed. <br />
