Cottony <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />i TR-iZe~uBSf• ,i <br />M-1977-022, Response to you letter dated December 3, 2003 <br />The Division of Minerals and Geology (DMG) received your letter dated December 3, 2003, <br />addressing a request for release of reclamation responsibility for United Companies at the Pit No. 3 <br />site, and requesting a technical revision to that permit. Please be aware that only the permittee, or <br />an entity authorized to act as agent for the permittee, can submit these type of requests. <br />Therefore, these requests are not adequate for submittal and are not being processed by DMG. <br />Any technical revision request to a DMG issued permit must come from the permittee or an entity <br />authorized to act as agent for the permittee.
