<br />soil occupies short alluvial fans and narrow valley
<br />bottoms in the foothills in the westee•n part of the Area
<br />{fig. 6). Slopes ate 0 to G percent, About 5 percent of
<br />this unit is included areas of Luhon loam and about 5
<br />percent areas of Monte loam.
<br />Funoff is moderate, but the soil receives runoff from
<br />surrounding hillsides. The hazard of realer erosion is
<br />moderate. Gullies have foamed in most areas.
<br />This soil is used mostly for fange and \vildlife. Some
<br />areas are used fot• irfigated alfalfa and small grain.
