r <br />?. <br />NOTICE OF PROPOSED DECISION <br />The Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology has issued a proposed decision <br />to approve with conditions a technical revision to the mining and reclamation <br />plans for the Raton Creek Mines, Permit No. C-82-055, operated by Energy Fuels <br />Mining Company, under the provisions of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining <br />Reclamation Act of 1979. The proposed technical revision (TR-16) was <br />submitted by Energy Fuels Mining Company on January 12, 1995 for the Raton <br />Creek Mines. The affected area is located in Section 31, T335, R63W; Section <br />36, T33S, R64W; Sections 6 and 7, T34S, R63W; and Section 1, T345, R64W, all <br />of the 6th P.M., in Las Animas County. <br />The subject technical revision would revise the Trailer and Adjacent Topsoil <br />Stockpile Area Small Area Exemption (SAE) and would add an SAE for Clean Water <br />Diversion 1. <br />Copies of the proposed technical revision are available for review at the <br />Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology office, 1313 Sherman Street, <br />Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203. Any person who has an interest which is or <br />may be adversely affected may request a formal hearing regarding this proposed <br />decision. Requests for a formal hearing must be made in writing within ten <br />(10> days of this publication and shall state with reasonable specificity the <br />reasons for the request and objections to the proposed decision. <br />
