Banta, <br />Division Drtector <br />Re: Technical Revision on Permanent Gullies at the Bourg Strip Mine (Our <br />File No. C-81-021 TR - 05) <br />Dear Mr. Patten: <br />We have received your technical revision application to revise your permit <br />(File No. C-81-021} to conduct coal mining in Colorado. Our initial review <br />indicates that all preliminary items required by the Colorado Surface Coal <br />Mining Reclamation Act, C.R.S, 34-33-101 et seq., have been submitted; thus <br />your technical revision application has been~emed complete for the purposes <br />of filing on the above date. All review and comment periods as provided in <br />the Act and Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from this date of <br />filing. <br />A copy of the technical revision application, less any confidential <br />information, must be filed for public inspection with the Jackson County <br />Planner's Office. Any subsequent changes or additions must also be made in <br />this copy. <br />As I indicated on the telephone, the proposed newspaper advertisement <br />submitted with the application has been found to be satisfactory. You should <br />commence publication of this advertisement as specified in Rule 2.07.3.(2) of <br />the Regulations. Proof of the publication of the advertisement must be filed <br />with the Division as soon as available after the publication date. <br />The staff is currently reviewing your technical revision application to <br />determine whether the items you have submitted are adequate in terms of <br />meeting the requirements for purposes of adequacy. You will be notified as to <br />the Division's tindings of adequacy or inadequacy of your revision <br />application.
