Turner, R.G.
inadequate and your application may be denied on the decision date unless you extend the due date to
allow yourself time to address each item and the Division time to review your response. If you wish [o
do so, you can waive your right to a decision by February 7, 2000 and leave your response time and
our review time open to the amount of time that the process takes.
Our preliminary review of your SPLP leachate results indicates that the CKD/Sludge is not strongly
leachable for regulated metals or sulfate. Leaching by groundwater of the CKD/Sludge mix should
release only minor quantities of a few metals and sulfate. However, the Division needs a considerable
amount of additional infoanation before we can make a decision regarding the application and any
permit conditions we may require.
Please call me if you have questions regazding your application and our review.
Sincerely,
G~~~'
Larry°
Environmental Protection Specialist
Attachment (Adequacy Review Items)
cc: James C.
