As required by Rule 2.08.5 of C.R.S. 34-33-101 et seq., <br />applications for permit renewal shall be filed with the Division at least <br />180 days before the expiration of the existing permit, and the mine operator <br />shall be notified by the Division of the need to renew a permit at least <br />90 days prior to the permit renewal filing deadline. <br />This letter is to notify you of the need to renew the Colowyo Coal Mine <br />permit. Based on the expiration date of the current permit, your application <br />for permit renewal should be received by this office by May 8, 1987. <br />For your convenience, I have enclosed a copy of the application form for <br />permit renewal, The Divisions will review the current permit and produce <br />adequacy comments similar to the mid-term review process.
