Box 68 <br />Empire, CO 80438 <br />RE: Hendeton Mine, Technical Revision Approval, Permit No. M•77-342, Revision No. TR-8 <br />Dear Mr. Lucero: <br />On September I, 1999 the Division of Minerals and Geology approved the Technical Revision application <br />submitted to the Division on July 08, 1999, addressing the following: <br />Disposal of dewatered high-density water treatment sludge generated at the Urad wastewater treatment <br />plant into Pond 1.2 at the Henderson Mine. <br />The tetras of the Technical Revision No. 8 approved by the Division are hereby incorporated into Permit No. <br />M-77-342. <br />The conditions of the Division approval aze noted below. Please note that all other provisions of Permit No. <br />M-77-342 remain in full force and effect. <br />Stipulation No. Description <br />The Henderson Mine will develop a strategy to protect the geosynthetic liner in Pond 1.2 during <br />placement of sludge.
