5) Per our phone conversation regazding the wells adjacent to the north cell at the Hammer
Pit, there aze five wells that show up on the well location database. Afield investigation
by the District 2 Water Commission revealed that four of the wells were on CAMAS's
property and were destroyed by mining and the fifth well was located approximately
750 feet from the mining extents. Consent was not required for the well located 750
feet fmm the site. The well is located approximately 15-20 feet from the river and
therefore should see only minimal effects from the dewatering operation.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss this matter in further detail please feel free to
give me a call at (303) 452-6611.
Sincerely,
TUTTLE APPLEGATE, INC.
" / - ~~
Kyle Whitaker
Water Resource Engineer
cc: File 99-148
Jamie Gaboriau, CAMAS Colorado, Inc.
