Mr. Kent Gorham, CMLRD
January 9, 1992 -page 2
Since the water from both wells will be tied into our e~dsting system prior to chlorination,
Trapper will continue water monitoring at the same frequency and evaluate the same
parameters list for the GD-1 well only.
Kent, it was estimated at the time the field revision was conducted (12/11/91) that the new
well location would be within 50 feet of the e>osting GD-1 well. That estimate was some-
what inaccurate. The actual location will be appro>omately 80 feet east of the e~dsting GD-
l domestic well. Additionally, Trapper is working with the Division of Water Resources to
maintain some pumping capability and water right from the GD-1 well rather than aban-
doning apotentially reliable water source that could supplement Trapper's water needs
during critical periods. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me.
WA/jb
~CMLRD\JAN09]
Enclosure
(w/o encl)
J.M. Mattern
B.D. Smith
B.D. Nicholson
L.W.
