The application was submitted by Colowyo Coal Company <br />L.P. on April 11, 1997, for the Colowyo Coal Mine. <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a formal <br />hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within 30 days of the first publication of this notice by the <br />Division in the Craig Daily Press. <br />The surface mine is located approximately 28 miles south of Craig. The permit are is further described as follows: <br />All or portions of Sections 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10, 11, 14, 15, 16, 17, 20, 21, T3N, R93W; and Sections 13, 15, 22, 23, <br />24, 26, 27, 28, 33 and 34, T4N, R93W; 6th Prime Meridian. <br />Copies of the renewal application are available for public review in the Division offices at the above address and <br />at the Moffat County Clerk and Recorder's Office.
