Mr. G. Scott Briggs
March 28, 1990
Page Two
As a new topic, please consider Manitou Springs Boy Scout Troop 18 as a
resource for tree planting at Snyder quarry and/or queens Canyon. I sim the
Special Projects end Fundraising Chairman for the Troop. Funds ere used for
transportation costs and enrollment fees for scout attendance at various Boy
Scout functions throughout the year. It would be a dramatic improvement to
complete the visual berm at Snyder Quarry through additional pine tree:
plantings and irrigation. A small water tank at the top of the berm could
gravity feed a drip irrigation system. Please have Mark Ifeifner content me if
this is of interest to your client.
I would encourage all parties to seek a cooperative and prompt reeolut.ion to
first the housekeeping issue, and secondly the culvert location issue. We
could all spend our energies on other, more difficult problems. If I can
assist in any way, please advise.
Sincerely,
'/~~Z V ., Imo`
~ ,
Gregory M.
