Box 46667 <br />Denver, CO 80201-6667 <br />Re: McClane Canyon Mine (Permit No. C-1980-004) <br />Transfer of Permit No. 3 (SO-3) <br />Proposed Decision <br />Dear Mr. Johnston: <br />The Division proposed to transfer the McClane Canyon Mine coal mining and reclamation pem3it, No. C- <br />1980-004 to Central Appalachia Mining, LLC from Lodestaz Energy, Inc. on November 17, 2004. The <br />underground coal mine is located in Garfield County, approximately 20 miles north of Loma, Colorado. The <br />coal to be mined is under Federal ownership and the surface is under Private ownership. A copy of the <br />proposed decision is enclosed. <br />In accordance with Rule 2.08.6(6), any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the <br />proposed decision may request a formal hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within thirty (30) <br />days of this notice by the Division. <br />If you have any questions, please contact me. <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br />Daniel T.
