<br />Dear Sir or Madam:
<br />The Division of Minerals and Geology hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, Section 116,
<br />Paragraph 4, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that on January 31, 1997, an application to revise coal mining
<br />operations at the Sanborn Creek Mine was considered complete for [he purposes of filing. The revision was
<br />submitted by Pacific Basin Resources. All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the
<br />Regulations initiate from this date of filing.
<br />The revision addresses:
<br />I. modification for the Lower Hubbard Creek site by providing a trail head for public access to Federal
<br />land.
<br />2. modification for the Lower Hubbard Creek site by leaving power line road in place for public use.
<br />3. revision of the reclamation schedule for the Upper Hubbard Creek site.
<br />The underground coal mining operation is on land located north of Somerset, Colorado. The permit area is
<br />further described as follows:
